Aviemore Adventure Film Festival

The Aviemore Adventure Film Festival is on from the 22nd -24th April. There are really great speakers (Dave McLeod, Leo Holdings, Luke Robertson, Lee Craigie and John Allen) and films at the event, so don't miss out it's going to be excellent!

We're really proud to be sponsoring the film festival.

Amazing weather in the Cairngorms

28th February 2016

The weather in the mountains over last couple of weeks has been amazing. Ensuring you have enough sun cream on and the sunglasses are packed is what it's all about! As you'd expect, there have been loads of people out enjoying themselves on foot, ski and climbs, and conditions have been really good for all three. We've been busy working, delivering lots of excellent courses. We've also managed to squeeze in some evening ski tours and climbs along the way too.

The photos say it all really. Great weather, great client and overall just great fun, oh, and great instructors too....

March is now pretty full, but we do have a couple spaces on our ski and winter skills courses.

We update our Facebook page daily with photos as well.

Busy half term

20th February 2016

Half term is always a busy period in Aviemore and the Cairngorms and this year was no exception. The weather played ball for the most part and we've had some really great conditions recently (albeit mixed in with some wild days).

We've had a couple of winter skills courses, two ski touring teams and several winter mountaineering/ guided climbing parties out.

Here's some photos of the last week. More regular photos are on our Facebook page.

Great conditions in the Cairngorms

12th February 2016

We've had really good conditions in the Cairngorms recently with light winds, cold temps and snow! February is our busy period and this year we've had loads of teams out on winter skills, avalanche awareness, intro ski touring, intro winter mountaineering and guided climbing courses. Thanks to our amazing instructors for delivering quality days once again.

Here are some photos that sum up the last few days and what mountain conditions are like. More, regular photos and updates are on our Facebook page too.

Walking, Climbing & Skiing

8th February 2016

After another wild weekend in the Cairngorms conditions have settled down this week and conditions on the hill are very good indeed.

It's been a busy spell for us. The weekend was the start of various winter skills and winter mountaineering courses, and yesterday saw another mountaineering course start as well as an intro to ski touring course. It's great to have lots of courses running and happy clients out, and we're very, very grateful to all those who've chosen to book with us.

We only have a couple places left on winter skills courses for February. There's good availability in March for walking, skiing and climbing courses.

Here are some photos from the teams since Saturday:
