Summer so far

23rd August 2021

It's been a great and very busy summer for us with lots of people coming out rock climbing, canoeing and hill walking with us. The weather has obviously massively helped too! Aviemore, like many others places, has been rammed with people eager to get away. Some of clients have been trying things for this first time whilst others have come to us to develop a particular element of their climbing, mountaineering or canoeing. As always, we're also been very busy working on various film productions. Here are a few photos from recent teams who've been out with us. We hope you've been having a great summer. CAG

Winter courses

A must do if visiting Aviemore My wife and i wanted to hike up' 'Ben Macdui' Scotlands second highest mountain. We contacted 'Cairngorm adventure guides' who were brilliant, easy to deal with, professional and promt. Our guide Emma didn't just get us to the summit but gave us lot's of local information on the area, and on hiking in the mountains in general. The walk is a couple of hours (we're 58 & 60 years old) with a few stops to take in the the stunning scenery and take photo's. As well as being constantly informative, Emma was also professional and considerate, offering us options for various descents, given the weather conditions and time. The weather changed, as would be expected, in the Scottish highlands, constantly, this only enhanced the overall experience and satisfaction of completing the hike. All in all, if you're looking for a memorable experience in the Scottish highlands, DO THIS!
