Winter Walking Week

#Winter Walking

Enjoy Scotlands snow capped mountains during a week of guided hill walking. A flexible itinerary means we'll go where the weather and conditions are best, aiming to climb at least one Munro per day. Relax as your guide navigates and leads you safely through the mountains, all you have to do is soak up this amazing mountain environment in its impressive winter coat.

You'll learn basic winter skills en route that allow you to move safely, and there will be opportunities to learn more if they are of interest.

Examples of the mountains that could be climbed:

  • Ben Macdui
  • Braeriach
  • Lochnager
  • Creag Meagaidh
  • Ben Nevis
  • A' Mharconaich
  • Sgorr Goaith
  • Carn Dearg, Monadhliath
  • Slioch
  • Bienn Eighe

Your guide will discuss the options at the beginning of the course and together you'll create a great itinerary. Where to go winter hill walking is always affected by weather and avalanche conditions.
