The north west of Scotland offers dramatic mountains which rise out of the sea and tower above the ground below. Steeped in history and one of the wildest places in Europe, the north west truely is an amazing place where adventures can be found.
We offer a North West Mountain walking holiday that takes you into the heart of the north west and up some the classic, remote mountains peaks like Suilven, Ben More Coigach, An Teallach, Beinn Eighe and Slioch. Every trip to the north west is memorable but when you add in classic mountains, highland hospitality and adventure you're sure to have a great time.
You'll be led up these mountains by a qualified guide and you'll be staying in excellent, local guest houses where you can relax in comfort after a rewarding day on the mountains.
We meet in Aviemore or Inverness where you are driven to your guest house in Ullapool the evening before. After a hearty breakfast and a quick gear check the following morning, you're off into the mountains for your holiday adventure.
Each day offers variety and a new area to explore and enjoy. We return to Ullapool most evenings where there are number of different restaurants, on some days though we'll eat at restaurants closer to the mountains and return to our guest houses later.
We prefer to have a flexible approach to the itinerary and go where weather and conditions are best. As these holidays run with only small numbers you can be sure you'll have a quality experience with your guide.
A reasonable level of fitness is required to enjoy this holiday. Each day will involve walking for 7-9 hours up mountains with a rucksak.
Costs are based on two people sharing, single supplement is available.
If this sounds like the holiday for you or if you have any questions, please get in touch.
