Almost the end of winter 2022.

13th March 2022

And like that, it's almost over. Well not quite.

Our winter courses wrap up at the end of the month but there'll still be plenty of winter to go at during April.

What started off quite promising during December then became a very warm and not-very-wintery during January. Then as we'd hoped, it picked up during February and started to feel a bit more normal. However, it has been really, really windy since then and not quite as cold as normal, which has made for challenging conditions at times.

Being able to deliver courses when conditions are challenging is only possible becuase of our the knowledge and experinece of our great team.

Thanks to everyone who's been on our cousres so far and thanks for the positive feedback.

Let's hope for some great late season conditions!

Winter courses

I had a great time at Aviemore for my 2 days introduction to winter skills course. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and always made time to answer everyone's question. Thorough checks on the correct kit and being prepared for a day in the mountains made me aware of a couple flaws in my own preparation. I have now corrected these and feel more confidant of the hills as a result. Very worth while doing so don't hesitate to sign up and learn how to be safe.
