The start of winter 2020

27th October 2019

It's been a while since we've done any blogging, which is mainly becuase we spend our summers working on tv and film productions (https://www.mountainandwatersafety.co.uk/). This year has been very busy with film work and we've been working across the UK and the world on different productions like Bond, Wonder Women, Fast & Furious to name but a few.

Winter has arrived in the mountains and it's great getting ready for it all to kick off.

Here are some photos of recent hill walking and the summit of Cairn Gorm (27.10.19), along with a selection of random filming related shots.

Our winter courses are beginning to fill and we're keeping everything crossed for lots of snow.

Winter courses

I would definitely recommend using them for navigation skills. I booked A1 day course. Communication with Dave before the course was good as well.. Dave or guide was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at ease. Explaining what was going to happen in the day and asked us too what we would like to get out of the course. Dave was great at explaining and giving instruction and I actually surprised myself that I manahed to correctly follow them too. . When I'm ready to go in to the next level of navigation. Cairngorm Adventure Guides will be my first go to to find a course. A great day and I don't feel so useless at using a map and compass now. Woo hoo!
