The seasons are definitely turning here in Aviemore and the Cairngorms. We've had a busy season of work, with a mix of rock climbing and hill walking groups as well as working on lots of TV and film productions. With so many missing out on winter last year it feels as though this winter is going to be pretty busy as most of our courses are already full and it's only the end of October. As always our winter skills courses are proving popular. These give you the skill set and confidence to get our winter hill walking: Hopefully we'll have some great skiing like last season. Our intro backcountry ski touring courses are ideal for anyone looking to get into ski touring: Hopefully we'll see you on one of our courses or out in the hills. Recent articles

Winter courses

Johnny was our guide for the day and his positive attitude made our learning experience fun despite the brutal Scottish winter conditions. He took time to understand what we wanted and tailored the course to meet our requirements - all in all, a great first introduction into winter mountaineering - makes me want to get out into the mountains again!
