This weekend we've had four winter skills teams and a winter mountainnering duo out (many continuing into next week too). Yesterday was tough going in deep fresh snow and this morning was tough in the thaw (rain). Nonethless, the teams have covered lots of ground and skills and even appear to be enjoying themselves!

I would definitely recommend using them for navigation skills. I booked A1 day course. Communication with Dave before the course was good as well.. Dave or guide was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at ease. Explaining what was going to happen in the day and asked us too what we would like to get out of the course. Dave was great at explaining and giving instruction and I actually surprised myself that I manahed to correctly follow them too. . When I'm ready to go in to the next level of navigation. Cairngorm Adventure Guides will be my first go to to find a course. A great day and I don't feel so useless at using a map and compass now. Woo hoo!
